T21RS International Conference 2017
Chicago, 7-11 June 2017
After the succesful first edition of the bi-annual T21RS International Conference in 2015 in Paris (France), the next T21RS International Conference will be held from June 7-11 in the beautiful city of Chicago (USA). We will have platform and poster sessions ranging from basic to clinical research. One entire day will be dedicated to Down syndrome and Alzheimer’s disease, reflecting new research opportunities to serve both the trisomic and euploid populations through evaluation of a population with a nearly universal high risk of developing histopathology of Alzheimer’s disease, providing unique insights relevant to the entire population. Our T21RS Science & Society Symposium will include family-oriented presentations on choosing to participate or not in clinical trials and establishing structures to integrate medical care and social support for the community.
Speakers represent Basic, Translational and Clinical Researchers and Funders from public and private sources. This is the Down syndrome meeting that brings all of the research components together – and we hope that you will be part of it!

2017 Registration is limited, so we urge you to register early. We encourage participation by all researchers and clinicians with an interest in Down syndrome. Junior investigators, women and under-represented groups are especially encouraged to apply. Special rates are available for those from the third world. Our generous sponsors have provided support for meeting attendance for selected junior investigators.
