Call For World Down Syndrome Day Webinar 2024
Call For World Down Syndrome Day Webinar
World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) is approaching! WDSD is celebrated every year on March 21th to promote and raise public awareness about this condition with the final goal to improve the quality of life for people with Down syndrome (DS).
T21 Research Society would like to observe this special day by giving the exciting opportunity to young investigators to share their recent preclinical and clinical findings in the DS research field with our international community of researchers and families.
The Webinar, hosted by the Education and Training Committee, will be held on March 22th at 6:00 PM Central European Time (12:00 AM USA Eastern Time). It will consist of a maximum of 4 short talks of 10-12 minutes each, followed by a brief Q&A of 5 minutes.
It will be important for the speakers to use language understandable by the general public and to emphasize the most important research advancement in support to the lives of people with DS and their families.
Young investigators are free to nominate themselves or can be nominated by their research advisor. Please send the nominations by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and cc to Fiorenza Stagni (email@example.com) and Marco Emili (firstname.lastname@example.org) with the affiliation of the nominee and a brief description (max 250 words) of the topic that will be presented by February 29th.
You will help us to create a stimulating Webinar!
