Data Science for Diverse Scholars in Down Syndrome Research (DS3): An INCLUDE training

This summer, the INCLUDE Data Coordinating Center (DCC) hosted an in-person, immersive summer course in data sciences known as the Data Science for Diverse Scholars in Down Syndrome Research (DS3).
This course will provide training in the basics of generation, identification and collection of high content multidimensional datasets; their management, analysis, and visualization; as well as the development of key professional skills required for the career advancement of diverse trainees. The event curriculum was created to fulfill three important aims:
1. To teach students how to perform FAIR research in the INCLUDE Data Hub and Beyond.
2. To train students in the skills necessary for big data management, analysis, and visualization.
3. To empower diverse trainees with professional skills necessary for career advancement.
Two-week in-person training from July 24th-August 4th on the University of Colorado Boulder campus in Boulder, Clorado, US
