SfN Down Syndrome Social

Social proposal, “Down Syndrome: From Neurobiology to Treatment at the 2018 SFN meeting in San Diego (November 3-7th).

Date: Monday 5th November from 6.45pm to 8.45pm

William Mobley and Elisabeth Fisher have organised Down Syndrome Social at Sfn2018. There’s a lot happening in Down syndrome, the most common genetic form of intellectual disability and the single biggest risk factor for Alzheimer’s disease. This is an opportunity to socialise with a range of scientists and clinicians coming from across the neuroscience spectrum and with a common interest in the neurobiology of Down syndrome, from basic science to translation to the clinic. We will have a small number of short talks and plenty of wine, networking, and discussion! So come to find out more and see what you can contribute! For more information contact: Bill Mobley (wmobley@ucsd.edu) or Lizzy Fisher (Elizabeth.fisher@ucl.ac.uk)
