Human induced pluripotent stem cell line inventory

The Cellular Subcommittee within the Preclinical Committee has reviewed the published literature to create a spreadsheet of all Trisomy 21 induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), and their respective control lines. We hope that this will help accelerate research in the Down syndrome field.

This spreadsheet can be found in the “Membership area” of the T21RS website (under “Downloads,” and then “Preclinical research”). The spreadsheet contains as much detail as possible about each iPSC line, including the following information: cell source, reprogramming methods, types of cells the iPSCs have been successfully differentiated into, clinical information (if available), and links to RNA-seq data (if available).

Our subcommittee is currently emailing the corresponding authors of these papers to ask whether they are willing to share the iPSCs and the procedures for requesting them. We will update the spreadsheet soon with this additional information.
