Letter from the President. End of term

Dear colleagues and members of the Trisomy 21 Research Society,

As I come to the end of my term as President of T21RS, I wish to express my deep gratitude for the trust you have placed in me and for your unwavering commitment to our shared mission. Serving this society has been both an honor and a privilege.

Together, over the past years, we have strengthened our collective efforts to advance understanding of trisomy 21 and to improve the health and quality of life of people with Down syndrome and their families.

These achievements would not have been possible without the dedication of the committee and workgroup chairs and members, our General Secretary and Treasurer, the past President Prof. Mobley, our administrative team from BCO and every volunteer who contributed their time and expertise. Your enthusiasm has been a constant source of inspiration.

I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to our founding and supporting members, who have renewed their commitment to T21RS for the coming years. Their support will sustain the initiatives driven by our members.

I am confident that the society is in strong hands and am certain that the next leadership team under the Presidency of Prof. Renata Bartesaghi will continue to advance our mission with determination and vision. My commitment to T21RS and to the Down syndrome community will remain, and I look forward to contributing to our work in new ways.

Thank you once again for your support, your trust and advocacy. I look forward to seeing many of you in Denver next June.

With warmest wishes,

Dr. Marie-Claude Potier
